Life Right Now

Travis and I have been married for almost 2 1/2 years. Crazy how fast time is going but what is even crazier is that Miss Makenzie Rae is already 4! Makenzie started her second year of preschool in September at Tiny Treasures Preschool.

 

She already knows how to write her name and a few other words and the next step is learning to read! Travis is still staying busy at DariTech while I am still working at the De Wagen Wasserij car wash here in town. I am planning on starting college next semester so we'll see how that goes with working full time.

We are getting so excited for the next couple of months! Travis and I both LOVE the holidays, especially decorations in the house. Decorating for the harvest seasons is fun but I can't wait until after Thanksgiving when Travis and I get to put up the Christmas tree and Makenzie gets to help me put the ornaments on.

At the end of October, Travis and I were able to go on a little vacation without Makenzie for the first time since we got married. We got to go to Las Vegas with myh brother Brent and his wife Amy and some other friends. We had a lot of fun people watching and seeing everyone in their costumes just walking around and we also got to see Nickelback in concert! So much fun but we sure were happy to come home to Makenzie.
